"The Voice of Saruman" is the 4th scene in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. This is a scene in the extended edition of The Return of the King (film). Gandalf talks to Saruman who is locked inside Orthanc. This happened in the book as well, but not what happens next: Saruman gets stabbed by Wormtongue and Legolas shoots Wormtongue. Saruman falls onto a spikey metal weapon and drops the Palantir. In the book, Wormtongue throws the Palantir out of the tower, and Saruman is not stabbed by Wormtongue until after the hobbits return to the Shire.
