Designed, developed and produced by Tarrvin-on-Kallik for the planet Adumar, the Blade-32 Starfighter is used primarily for planetary defense and capital ship support, but is also considered a space superiority starfighter. Hoersch-Kessel Drive has been given permission to sell the starfighters to the galaxy at large. Two pairs of fire-linked laser cannons and a pair of concussion missile launchers (with an impressive capacity of eight missiles per launcher) are the Blade-32's standard weapons. In an unusual design feature, one of the laser cannon pairs is mounted to fire backward.
