The Color menu (UK: Colour menu) briefly existed in the Macintosh system software from System 4.2 all the way through the final version of System 6. This menu would allow the user to set a specific item's (e.g. a folder, a document or an application program icon in colour. There were around seven color to choose from. The unrelated Labels menu in System 7 and later also brought color to items. The Color menu existed only on Macintosh computer that supported color, although it was not available for the original all-in-one compact Macs.
