After the demise of Dream Girl in the battle against Praetor Lemnos, Rol Purtha, precog second-class, was appointed by the United Planets as her replacement in the Legion – ‘Dream Boy’. The Legionnaires were very resistant to having a new member imposed upon them, and for some time did their best to exclude Dream Boy from missions and meetings. Although, in fairness, he did not endear himself to his potential teammates by using his powers in minor but annoying ways, such as anticipating and correcting errors in Lightning Lad’s leadership speech – while Lightning Lad was still writing it!
