The JEN-441 patrol-capture gunship was one of the incarnations of Eniam's main police craft. It used the same basic hull as the JY-73 starbomber, but was fitted to suit anti-criminal work as opposed to full-scale war. It sacrificed much shield power for large engines, and the laser cannon turrets were replaced by blaster cannons. These guns were slightly less damaging but had variable power settings, so a blast from them could stun criminals rather than reducing them to smears. However, even the lowest power settings would often leave bruises and welts.
