The US team is getting lunch. Someone says they pity Japan for having to face Germany. In the stadium, the teams enter the court. Nine time champion Germany is greeted with cheers from the crowd whereas Japan doesn't get any support. The Japanese MSers are talking about their competition and Oishi gets beat up by his teammates once more. On the German side, QP tells their MS representative, Siegfried, to listen to what Tezuka has to say about the Japanese team before the match starts, but Siegfried grabs Tezuka's face and replies that Tezuka won't tell them anything worthwhile anyway.
