The magnets are strong magnets that create a strange sound when attracting objects. It has an on/off switch. If you slow the buzzing down using a machine it plays a pefect rendition of "Through the Fire and the Flames" by Dragon force (despite said song not being heavy metal), and can sometimes also play other tunes.
