The Holy Komi Empire is a state in the former Soviet Union. It was established in 1984 by Yuriy Spiridonov, who, with the help of military units in the area, declared himself "President", though he was never elected. The next year, with the support of the Orthodox in the region, who wanted to regain control, he proclaimed himself the Holy Emperor of the Komi. (more to come)
