Sergeant Mark Gottlieb was, along with Investigator Benjamin Himan, one of the members of the Durham Police Department most involved with the investigation of the Duke lacrosse case. Gottlieb is perhaps most notable in the context of the lacrosse case for the "Gottlieb memo".
