Simplicity 3147; ca. 1950s; Girls Coat or Topper and Beret: Darts at the front shoulder fit the coat which has a front-button closing and long sleeves. The large flat collar is rounded in back and pointed in front. A deep inverted pleat releases fullness in back and a lining is optional. Patch pockets trimmed with flaps may be featured in front. Cuffs trim the sleeves in 1 & 2. The beret, made with a crown and a two-piece band, is finished off with a loop on top.
