Logistics Command was a division of the Royal Manticoran Navy, submitted to the Third Space Lord, responsible for the planning, administration, and operational aspects of the RMN's supply train. It controlled a fleet of freighters, ammunition ships, and repair ships. Some had military grade inertial compensators so they could accompany fleets on maneuver. Mobile repair ships could even exchange fusion bottles in the field, a very major evolution, as was done at Hancock Station when HMS Nike arrived on her maiden voyage under Captain Honor Harrington.
