Anthony Edwards, born July 19, 1962 in Santa Barbara, California, USA, is an actor. He stars as Dr. Mark Greene from the first to the eighth seasons. He reprises the role for flashbacks in the fifteenth season episode "Heal Thyself". He is also known for his roles in the films Revenge of the Nerds (1984), Top Gun (1986), The Forgotten (2004) and Zodiac (2007). He starred in the cancelled ABC series Zero Hero.
