I have not been able to get the RSS feeds for Recent changes or New pages to work from the FireFox browser. I can use Bloglines to access the wikia RSS feeds. Just register at Bloglines, copy the URL of the RSS feed link on a wikia page, and paste it into the URL subscription line at Bloglines.
