Tarl was a stormtrooper in the Imperial Remnant during the Yuuzhan Vong War, serving under Lieutenant Stalgis aboard the frigate Widowmaker. On a mission to Munlali Mafir, he was infected with a Jostran which was removed by Tekli, a Jedi Knight who was part of the mission. Tarl was a close friend of Lieutenant Stalgis.
