Players from anywhere may use the PTR, however the servers are hosted in the Americas region. Up to 10,000 players may be active on the PTR at a time. Any additional players will be placed into a queue. When joining the PTR, a copy of the player's account is made specifically for the region. Progression in the PTR is separate from the full game.
