Ciato is a villain from Asellus's storyline in SaGa Frontier. He is one of the Mystic Princes under Lord Orlouge's rule, along with Ildon and Rastaban, and his right hand. After Orlouge turns Asellus into a Half-Mystic by giving her his own blood, Ciato helps her to run away from Orlouge, who orders him to bring her back. As it turns out, Ciato wanted to kill her all along to absorb her mystic powers, so he first send three shadows to find and kill her. After they are defeated Orlouge sends the Lion Princess, but as she is defeated Ciato decides to challenge her. Ciato is killed and vanishes, but later on he manifests himself to fight Asellus again when she returns to fight Orlouge, ending defeated once again.
