Gene Laughlin is a former NASCAR driver from Akron, OH. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Both of those races came in 1954, when Laughlin debuted at Sharon. Starting positions in both races are unknown, but Laughlin drove to a 21st place showing at Sharon. He was unable to improve in his other event, recording a 27th at Linden.
