Wave Dodge is Sandbag's down special move in Super Smash Flash 2. Sandbag spins and, if a direction is held, moves for a short distance in that direction, somewhat akin to air dodging in Melee. This movement can be cancelled into any attack while keeping its momentum. If no direction is pressed, Sandbag will be put into a Helpless state. When used on the ground, it can also be cancelled into another use of itself. Overall, its intended use is to perform bizarre momentum tricks, and adept usage can make Sandbag's movement patterns completely unlike any other fighter.
