An Acid Cloud was part of a psychic illusion that Toa Cordak Lesovikk experienced at the hands of Karzahni's Great Kanohi Olisi. In the illusion, the Acid Cloud was the enemy that Lesovikk's Toa Team fought and defeated, instead of dying at the hands of Zyglak. Lesovikk himself destroyed the Acid Cloud in the vision instead of hesitating. The Toa later realized what he was undergoing was a vision tailored to his deepest wishes, and consequently dispelled the hallucination.
