Ikimono no Tamashii no Yukue (Whereabouts of the Living Being's Soul) is Kikuo's 7th album, and his first to not be included in his KikuoMiku or KIKUOWORLD album series. The album consists of seven songs all sung by si_ku, who illustrates most of Kikuo's works, including the cover for the album. si_ku has been featured as a singer on Kikuo's albums only once before (good night from KIKUOWORLD2.
