Pokémon Afterlife (Japanese: モンスター来世ポケット Pocket Monsters Afterlife) and Pokémon Rebirth (Japanese: モンスターリバースポケット Pocket Monsters Rebirth) are a pair of core series Generation VIII games that are set in the Eleftheria region. Both games were revealed on Nintendo Direct by Junichi Masuda, and subsequently the official Japanese and international Pokémon websites, on January 25, 2019.
