The Seneca Sting is the name of the sports teams of the Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. It is located in North York (a part of Toronto), Ontario and also has campuses in the cities of Markham, Newmarket, and Vaughan, Ontario. The team was originally known as the Seneca Braves. They played in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) hockey league. The Sting/Braves won championships in 1972, 1980, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1998, and 2000. The team was founded in 1968 and folded in 2004 when the league disbanded due to lack of teams.
