Graelyn Elayne Waryn was born the second child of Risholm Waryn and Tannis Rossari Waryn on Kaon in the development of Wyvernholt, where her family owned a large resort, nearby the mountainous city of Varione. Her and her twin brother Aydyn grew up helping their parents run the resort and so they were both accustomed to hard work. Graelyn attributes her cooking skills to her years working in the resort kitchen.
