After the Prometheans were defeated, several more parties joined in the war, most notably being India and a coalition of Western nations led by the United States. The war ended in a total defeat of the People's Republic of China and the discredit of Maoism. The war also restored the nation of Tibet to independence, and the return of Nationalist rule to most of China.
