Not Ashamed is Newsboys' fourth studio album, released in 1992, and their first successful one. It is also the first album that Steve Taylor produces. The biggest hit off the album is I'm Not Ashamed. The album was nominated for a 1992 Grammy Award for Best Rock/Contemporary Gospel Album, but didn't win. The music video for I Cannot Get You Out of My System was nominated for a 1994 Dove Award for Short Form Music Video of the Year, but didn't win either. This album put Newsboys on the map for bigger future albums, such as Going Public.
