Wanga is a collection of religious beliefs stemming from the slave communities of the Caribbean (including Voudoun). Also, the term applied to the schools of sorcery that stem from these religions. It is a relatively rare form of blood sorcery practiced by vampires in the Caribbean (particularly Haiti) and Africa. Though rumored to have originated with the Samedi bloodline, modern Wanga is wielded with great prominence among the Serpents of Light. Practitioners are called Wangateurs.
