Sister Esa was a member of the Synod of Stygg, a group of mages, witches, and warlocks opposed to the rule of the Lady in the Lands of Fist. She was a lean, wiry old woman with skin as dark as Ironwood. She wore her hair in a tight bun, and wore layers of threadbare shawls and skirts.
