These power packs carried both a small electrical storage unit (such as a battery or other such device) and a quantity of compressed spin sealed Tibanna Gas. Power packs for rifles (such as the E-11) typically carried enough Tibanna and electricity for one hundred shots. Alternatively, plasma packs of the same size could be used to power a blaster with up to five hundred shots, although there was a slight decrease in the accuracy and cooling power of the weapon.
