During the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, the rebel fleet is in need of a new hyperspace route to and from Lothal. Sabine Wren, a rebel from the planet Mandalore, proposes that they use the Concord Dawn system. While trying to gain access to the system, the rebels come into conflict with Fenn Rau and his Mandalorian Protectors. While Sabine seeks justice for the injuries Rau inflicted on Hera Syndulla, Kanan Jarrus seeks a diplomatic solution—and, hopefully, the allegiance of the Protectors of Concord Dawn.
