The Beacon Operator was one of the Hoolefoids whom Ratchet helped out on Hoolefar Island on Planet Merdegraw. He looked quite different from most of the other Hoolefoids, as he had a much stumpier, rounder head with a less pointy lower jaw. He spoke in a New Jersey accent, and boasts about being a labor union member, specifically Local Beacon Union 3-19, and refused to do anything against union regulation.
