Starfleet Special Expeditionary Assault Landing (or SEAL) teams are special forces assigned to carry out missions that Starfleet Intelligence deems most sensitive. The identities of individual SEALs and other such information, such as the exact number of SEALs in operation at a given time, is limited to those officers with level 10 security clearance or higher.
