100,000 years ago the Skrull capitol was relocated to Tarnax IV, later renamed Throneworld. Throneworld was eventually devoured by Galactus and the Imperial starfleet destroyed by Nova (Frankie Raye). The destruction of Tarnax IV led to further animosity between the Skrulls and Planet Earth. Reed Richards, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers had previously aided in restoring the life-force to Galactus. In turn, Galactus' insatiable hunger led to the destruction of Tarnax IV. The destruction of the Skrull World provided some impetus for the Skrulls later Secret Invasion of Earth.
