Fought almost immediately after the Fourth Battle of Coruscant, the Empire, wishing to follow up on its great victory at Coruscant, deployed its main battle fleet from Coruscant to Bothawui, with the great flagship, the Dark Eminence, at the front of the charge. The Imperials, however, were met with tougher resistance from the Bothans than expected, and a suprisingly heavy amount of damage was inflicted upon the Dark Eminence. With the battle going nowhere, the Empire ordered a withdrawal from the system.
