The Feast of Booths was a feast, mandated by God to be celebrated by Hebrew Israel. The name can also be translated as the Feast of Tabernacles and is also called by Scripture as the Feast of Ingathering (it is also called the festival of booths, tabernacles or ingathering). It is an eight day feast occurring on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, taking place several days after the Day of Atonement and two weeks after the Feast of Trumpets. Along with the Feast of Weeks and Feast of Unleavened Bread it was one of three special feasts to God.
