The Central African conflicts were a series of conflicts beginning generally around 2009 throughout Central African countries, such as the Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of Mali, and Federal Republic of Nigeria. They included the rise of rebel groups and instability throughout those countries, and saw increased civilian casualties.
