Eddie MacDonald is a former NASCAR driver from Tifton, GA. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career with one top-ten. All three of MacDonald's races came in 1966, when he debuted in the Firecracker 400 at Daytona. Starting 36th in the field, MacDonald completed 144 of the 160 laps before finishing 18th. MacDonald returned to the track later in the year at Atlanta. Starting a career-best 13th, MacDonald completed 251 of the laps in route to a career-best and remarkable 8th place finish. MacDonald made one more race, Darlington, but finished 34th with engine woes and never returned to NASCAR.
