In the year 2410, the First Maje interrupted a summit between Delta Alliance and Kazon representatives in the Bremark star system. Sessen wanted to fight Captain Harry Kim, who had served with Sessen's mother Seska aboard USS Voyager in the 2370s. The First Maje and its Nistrim escorts engaged the Alliance starship USS Rhode Island and fought together with the Nistrim's allies, the Halik and Mostral.
