Gancho was a searat captain of Ublaz Mad Eyes on Sampetra. He joined Rasconza in rebellion against Ublaz. He was appointed captain by Rasconza, demoted the next day by Ublaz, and later re-promoted by Rasconza. Gancho was friends with Baltur and they were the first to notice the fires that Welko and Viola Bankvole set on the crew's ships.
