John Pagano (born March 30, 1967) is the current defensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He had been the teams linebackers coach since 2005. He has helped develop linebackers such as Shawne Merriman and Shaun Phillips. He was promoted to defensive coordinator on January 5, 2012. His brother, Chuck Pagano, is the current head coach for the Indianapolis Colts.
