Fyllis was a member of Clan Nifferlin, who along with her mother, sister and aunts, was able to escape the wrath of God-Emperor Jal-Nish Hlar and hide within the ruins of Nifferlin Manor. Though a young girl, Fyllis was largely responsible for the survival of this remnant of her family, due to having a natural talent for decieving the God-Emperor's wisp-watchers.
