The First Galactic Civil War was a galaxy-spanning conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the latter of which was later replaced with the New Republic. The war lasted for 21 years, from 2 BBY to 19 ABY, and ended with the Treaty of Bastion.
