Pepe is the resident magician on Sesamstrasse. He is from the Pe-Zauberer family and therefore his spells have to contain P-words. For example, the spell to turn a chair blue is "Pappe, Puffer, Pampelmusenhain" (Cardboard, Buffer, Grapefruit). Although most of his spells tend to have a different outcome than expected, he dose not give up until he manages to correct whatever went wrong. Most of the time his spells transform him into various things such as a radio, a rabbit, a frog and a Grouch. All of his spells come from his big spellbook.
