Bob Rooney is a friend of Al's from their high school football days, and was the treasurer of NO MA'AM when it existed. Employed as a butcher, Bob Rooney is married to Peggy's friend Louise and is always called by his full name "Bob Rooney", even by his wife. He apparently owns a complete set of D.I.Y. manuals for home repairs, and is seen as the 'fix-it guy' in the group.
