Selek was a Vulcan Starfleet officer who served during the Dominion War. In 2374, he served as the USS Lambda Paz's night-watch duty officer. He had a watch on the bridge when Hasin Arnit escaped the ship after he was confronted with evidence of his secret communiques with the Dominion. (Star Trek: Lambda Paz: "Revenge a Dish Best Served Cold") Selek was later given command of the USS Epimetheus in early-2375. Captain Limis Vircona was reminded of this when she hailed the bridge during the gamma shift and Ensign Willis Huckaby answered instead of Selek. ("Faces in the Crowd", "Midnight Ride")
