Joe Skovron, born August 4, 1910 is a former NASCAR driver from Greenville, RI. He competed in one Nextel Cup event prior to his death on March 16, 1998. That race came in 1951, when Skovron raced at Thompson. Starting 33rd in the field, Skovron could not avoid an early crash that doomed him to a 36th place finish. Stats
