Allwork first appeared as someone whom Jon owed a debt to, thus forcing Jon to come up with money to pay him back to avoid getting sued. He ended up buying Odie (whom Garfield put up for sale as a joke) for his son Jack. After a while, Garfield convinced Allwork to give Odie back. After that, he took over the weather lab of Hiram "Hi" Pressure. He made sure that summer would remain unbearably hot, so that sales of items to help people cool off would go up. Later, he made a robotic toy out of Pooky, figuring it would sell well among children.
