A Legate was a high ranking post within the Romulan Star Empire's Tal Diann. Along with the position of Censor, the Legate was one of the positions within the Offices Imperium. They were empowered by both the Tal Diann and the Praetor. A Legate was a Romulan who served the role of observers within the Romulan Star Navy with several members of this rank being present within fleets or wings to ensure a smooth operation among the military.
