When an emergency required his presence, Woodrow had to leave a gathering at 10 Downing Street to go to an MI6 base at Vauxhall Cross. There he was briefed on the situation and told about the Eighth Doctor's presence. North, an MI6 agent, brought the injured Doctor to Woodrow. He and Dr Grace Holloway were performing an experiment involing humans and Time Lords. This eventually brought them into contact with the Doctor — and the Master. Woodrow assisted the Doctor in defeating the Master, but lost one of his men in the battle. (COMIC: The Fallen)
