Skyloft Mantises are creatures from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. They can be found throughout Skyloft both on the main island and in the Waterfall Cave. They can also occasionally be found at Pumpkin Landing or on Bug Rock inside the Thunderhead. Like the other insects in the game, Skyloft Mantises are a Potion Infusion component, used by Bertie to upgrade the stock potions Luv sells at the Bazaar. Mantises are one ingredient in the Air Potion and the first stage of the Revitalizing Potion upgrades.
