Jane is a member of the Sacrament Lutheran Militia. Sometime after Sam and Dean Winchester are found and brought to their town, Jane's son Dylan is attacked and killed by a demon while talking to Dean. Jane angrily blames Dean for his death. Pastor Gideon gathers everyone at the church to speak of Dylan's demise. He also asks Leah for advice, who promptly has a seizure and wakes up to tell everyone that Dylan will return on Judgement Day.
